It all started in October, when Cathy's (Cathint) hubby, Lonnie (Flanders1ned), invited me to spend Thanksgiving with them in Texas. Since I couldn't find a dog and cat sitter, I had to turn him down.

About a week later, Cathy called and asked if it would be ok if she came up for a week after Thanksgiving. Never one to turn down good company, (New York can be a lonely place at times for a hermit like me) I gladly accepted. Two days later she called to ask if Amy (Barleyhitch) could also visit. Again I said sure. All of this was made possible by Lonnie who cashed in his frequent flyer miles to bring them both to the Big City. Thanks Lonnie. Sooooo on Monday December 5th, they arrived late in the evening and our big adventure began.
